# 9 AUTUMN 1

## OVERVIEW

Students will learn how to manipulate algebraic formulae which will form the basis of their knowledge and understanding of formulae used throughout maths and science. They will develop understanding of straight line graphs and what each variable in the formula represents, including what changes when you have a parallel or perpendicular line. This will extend to plotting and solving inequalities graphically and more complex graphs such as quadratics.
