This is a suggested sequence for Higher/Foundation classes that are aiming for grades 4-6. This sequence has been developed from considering the highest frequency & tariff concepts.

ALGEBRA REVISION

• Form and solve linear equations including simultaneous equations

• Form and solve linear inequalities and understand representation on number lines

• Review Index Laws including negative and fractional powers (H)

• Expanding, factorising & solving quadratics linking to quadratic graphs

• Understand and use the equation of a straight line (y=mx + c)

• Recognise the different types of sequences and find the nth term of a linear and quadratic sequence (H)
